People bash politicians when things are not going well and when politicians continue to put themselves ahead of the people that voted for them. An example: voting in favor of their pay raise increase. I doubt that the terrorist are laughing, there is not a lot fun in their world and there isn’t a lot of humor in being a suicide bomber. If you seriously think ANYONE has forgotten 9/11 you need to re-rack your main computer and do a BITE check and then print out any faults found. Osama Bin Laden was not taken out, that is a fact, who had the opportunity really isn’t important; he still hasn’t been taken out and can’t be found. Like all good things, it will happen. One of the problems with running this war is the fact that 90% or better of the members of the senate and congress have never been in the military and they do not have a clue on what it is like to have someone really interested and trying their best to kill you and your friends. It is easier to put someone else in harms way. The solution to that is having a two year mandatory military service obligation for everyone, no deferments. Make the congress and senate pension plans go away and have them pay into social security then that program would be fully funded and efficiently run or they wouldn’t get any. Remind them everyday that they are working for the people and were elected by the people, not the lobbyist. If you are in the military and you really screw up, you stand to lose your pay and allowances to include your pension, have the same provision for elected officials. “Duke Cunningham†will still be collecting his pension while in prison.

Look on the bright side; if you didn’t read your name in the obituary column, you are doing ok today! 🙂

Deficits are a result of all of the politicians trying to bring home the bacon for their constituancy. It's not a democrat or republican issue, it's a political issue and believe me neither side can take the high road. Do some research and educate yourself.

Halliburton has gotten a lot of no bid contracts because in most cases they are the only company that can provide the service that is needed. They can put it out for bid but if Halliburton is the only bidder guess what...they get it. DUH!!

What company does the type of business that Halliburton does? No one. They were not put out for bid because if they were no one would be able to do that kind of work except for Halliburton. The reason the deficit was eliminated was due to in large part to economic growth provided by congress....not the President.

The media is fond of reminding us that no Weapons of Mass Destruction were ever found in Iraq. This has been the clarion call of the Democrats for a couple of years now. However, did you know that WMD were found in Iraq? Not just a couple...but lots of them. A mother who lost her son in Iraq was interviewed on Fox News had this to say: "I have seen photos of entire fighter jets buried in the sand. I have seen pictures of entire caches of weapons that just my son's unit would uncover." I wonder why we never hear much about that one? Here's also a nice little list of what was found:

-500 tons...that's right...TONS...make that 1million pounds of yellow cake uranium. It was found at Saddam's nuclear weapons facility (yup...he had one of those too.)

-1.8 tons of partially enriched uranium found at the same place. You know, the stuff you need to make nukes.

-Hidden centrifuge parts and blueprints.

-Two dozen artillery shells loaded with Sarin and mustard gas.

Sounds like WMD to me! You may want to print this off and impress your friends with your knowledge.
