GSO--down to 1x737
MDT--down to 1x737
MCI--down to 1x737
ATL--down to 3xE70 and no mainline
IAH--down to 2x737
DTW-down to 1x737

Other points of interest....
PIT-DCA goes down to 1x737 and rest RJ's
PIT-BNA PIT-MHT PIT-DAY PIT-PWM discontinued
PIT-ELM PIT-SCE PIT-BGM AND PIT-ITH resumed with dash 8 service

It sure seems to add up to layoffs, doesn't it?

I wonder when employee give-backs will be enough?

Rumor around PTI (GSO) is that Jetblue will be moving in soon in a big way. And that Mesa is closing a couple of bases and moving them to GSO in December.

Well that is a new one for us at Mesa. I live in CLT though so it would be good for me  -Cape

One could surmise that the arrival of Mesa means there will be some meaningful CRJ-900 flying to/from GSO.

Also, one wonders about the projected return of PHL from rolling hub to banks--would a reduction in PHL move back to PIT?

One can only hope.

My best to you all...

10 more to go from Jan-Feb.
These are the last of the original 60.

Should be the last but with fuel like it is I wouldn't count on it.

Looks like all the Mesa CRJ-200 flying is gone by the November schedule, and so is most of the Mesa ERJ-145 flying and the Trans States flying. Air Wisconsin is replacing them. What does appear in the November schedule are Mesa CRJ-900s replacing 737s. The CR9s show up in November on CLT- ATL / BHM / DFW / GSO / IAD / IAH / ILM / IND / JAX / MCI / MEM / MSP. CLT loses 20 mainline departures between now and November, and PHL loses 33. Stations losing all mainline flying include ATL, MEM, BHM, MSP, STL...

I think there are two big things to notice.

One is that some stations are losing all mainline service, places like ATL and MEM. Those stations will almost certainly be Mainline Express-ed for the CWA.

The other thing, which isn't as evident at first glance, is that some stations are going down to below the 56-flights-per-week number that allows the IAM fleet service work to be outsourced. This I think is also unfortunately likely to happen, and will likely catch people more by surprise, since those stations will still have a considerable mainline presence. I'm talking stations like DFW, IND, CMH...that Class II list might be getting real short.

Couldn't have said it any better myself.

ATL has 4 or 5 mainline AWA flights to PHX ..... will that keep them a mainline station?

Who Knows where B6 will pop up next the E190s will certainly open up the possiblity of shorter routes. GSO RDU CLT RIC always mentioned....

CLE has 1 (ONE ) Clt in the Am that is until Sept 19th and then that's G_O_N_E!!!

It's being replaced with a CRJ>.

I've been posting to marketing for a couple of years now., we need 2-3 CleBos trips..

what;s wrong with that?

They just DONT LISTEN DO THEY!?

I really think that U is still setting itself up to be the east coast and SW US piece of a larger airline. NW, perhaps.
