You should go back under the bridge you live under.

Being union or non-union has nothing to do with what is going on, you should be more concerned about the after effects this disaster will have on people.

You have really reached new lows.

Just remember Karma, and it is going to catch up with you.

Depends how fast it can go

Its not a labor union nor a union per say, they dont have an LM-2

Glad to see you think people getting sick, risking their lives and dying is funny.

You have really turned 1000% to the right, it makes me sick.

Never changed in my political views Pal.
Whats funny is you checking out the Union of Scientists...."They don't have LM-2".
You don't even realize when some one is pulling your chain.
You, my friend are the one that has changed.

That's OK, I still Love You Dude...

You're kidding.

What options to nuke power is there? What, we have some 500 years of 'dirty coal' and a couple hundred years of oil reserves.....so what's a dictator to do?

Hey, look what I found:

I don't think he was. I don't think anyone is looking to build one smack dab in the middle of the San Adreas fault. Or in the middle of a flood plain for a major river. However there are plants in earthquke zones in the USA. Take the San Onofre plant just north of Camp Pendleton in San Diego County. Like that plant in Japan it's right on the ocean. If you have seen Naked Gun you know what it looks like.

Apparently nuclear oversight is quite lacking.

I have to rethink my position when our oversight and scientists start depending on using extension cords for power backup systems and to cool a reactor with water drops and water cannons.

IMHO, just plain stupid!

The problem with the Japanese nuclear reactors is that two back-up power systems failed. Thus, cooling water was not supplied to keep the reactors cool.

With a historic record of 'big' earthquakes and tsunami's, why would you build a 'basement' and stick your backup generators there?

I am certainly not a 'knowledgeable person' on this issue but if the brainiacs can't do a simple process map to figure it out then we better start gathering fire wood.

JMHO
