I''ve heard a rumor that supposedly the management at NW has realized things aren''t going well and will be doubling the amount employees currently pay for healthcare, along with axing some benefits. Any truth to this?

I guess it's a way to get concessions from us without drawnout contract renegotiations. Effectively nullifies our 13SEP scheduled payraise...

Sorry to say, but you may as well get use to it...another wonderful industry trend....it never gets cheaper...at US they hooked us in to the HMO deal about 6 years ago and it was FREE, for the first year anyway..then up it went every year after that. And it is funny that it does seem to increase just enough to eat up your raise.
