Northwest AMFA mechanics I am so proud of you guys for standing firm. Your worth every dime you were paid and Northwest knows it now. You told NW-no thanks I'd rather work a real job than work for you!
If you have no job skills you have to crawl to your employer if you are skilled than you do not have to crawl. You guys did the right thing!

Yesterday, Two different people I know were talking about flying somewhere. One in particular always fly's NW to FL. I talked both of them out of flying Northwest!

I,for the life of me,can't understand why anybody(except the top executives) would want to work for NWA? Northwest's management team are the ones that Enron management rejected for employment there for being too unethical. Everywhere you look NWA management wants to chop wages and outsource everything. Who would want to work for a bankrupt(financially & morally) company that is constantly threatening employees? Layoffs and paycuts:What a future that is! NWA will wipe out it's employee pensions and benefits just so Doug Stealin and his cronies can get another multi-million dollar bonus. There comes a time when you have to say enough is enough! The AMFA members did the right thing and have or will have gotten on with their lives with hopefully a brighter future than they had a Northwest.
