As Obsurd as they have been, the proposals from NW to ALPA, AMFA and the Flight attendants have been mostly known.

BUT,

There has been NO "leaking" of the proposal from NW to the IAM !!

"What Gives" ??

Surely there has been some speculation !!

Now that is a scorcher. But at least it doesnt compare to the IAM FLeet service at USAIR which is like this:
sick pay= no pay first day, days 2 thru 5 at 1/2 rate of your pay
hol pay= 5 holidays paid straight time regardless of working or off
no shift differential
vacation I believe is either 3 or 4 weeks at stright time

Outsourced at least 30 cities to various contractors including PSA and Piedmont. Piedmont pays experience 10.66 an hr with a top out at 12.50 paid hols are 8 and paid at time and a half
max vaca is 3 weeks sick I believe has no maximum days but are all paid

Please re-read the proposal. The company is asking to entirely outsource approx. 90 stations (including ABE, by the way). Those that would remain in the few cities left would see their pay/vacations/benefits slashed including sick time time paid out at 80%.

Good, the more IAM layoffs the better. This sorry arse organization deserves everything it gets. What are they going to do, go on strike? Silly notion, they had that opportunity and let it pass it right by. What goes around comes around. im sure AMFA supports you!! After all you all are much more difficult to replace!!

How does a SCAB get a pink slip?

It seems a scab dishes out far more permanent pink slips than one would receive.
