Does NWA still have maintenance at MCO?

I haven't seen any of the mechanics in a long time and they seem to no longer park their cars in the same area as we do.

Spoke to several of them on occasion and seemed like a good bunch of guys.

I knew there was a lot of bumping and moving going on but never heard that MCO was on the cutting block.

Makes me sick to see how MX is treated at other airlines. Guess we're the bastard children of the industry after all.

NW does still have both AMT's and Plant Maintenance at MCO. Latest seniority roster shows 23 AMT's (incl. crew chiefs), and 3 Plant maintenance.

Any chance on an idea of the lowest guy in senority system-wide?

Just wonderin if the guys who I worked with at TWA who went to NWA back in '97 are still there.

As far as I can see, the junior tech on the system has '98 seniority (in SFO), but that low of seniority date is a rarity (unfortunately). Most are at '90 or senior.
