No its not, it's the truth!! You'd have to be an absolute idiot to want to start a business today with the benefits, taxes, litigation, ect. that goes along with it what Obama has set up. I believe it was the Home Depot ceo who stated that if he had to start Home Depot now it wouldn't even be possible.

Hmmm...so, if I saw an opportunity to start a business that would provide a good or service that wasn't being met, and that could net me a quarter million a year after taxes, etc...I shouldn't start that business? Who's the idiot here?

I know...the Home Depot guy. Passed a Home Depot today. Parking lot was pretty full. I wonder...if Home Depot DIDN'T exist...would he still not start the business? BTW...the current Home Depot CEO had nothing to do with starting home depot. He got that job after the founders retired....and after the previous CEO was paid tens of millions of dollars to stay home.

250K salary is a drop in the bucket and not worth the hassle/expense/startup/insurance headache, responsibility IMO. Not to mention the continuing rising costs of goods and services with higher taxes, $250K will not go very far at all. And small business owners? well they are about to be a thing of the past...Obama wants everyone to work for a corporation or the government plain and simple.

Where unneedy people exploit the system and leave needy people in the gutter?
Do some qualification state by state.....you'll have a new awakening.

So it's not worth a quarter million for you? True, a quarter million doens't go as far as it once did. I guess we should't even consider starting a business unless we can make at least a million. Preferably untaxed.

I think letting people rot is the ideal America. IF there are a hundred needy people and one who games the system...let those 100 suffer because we need to teach that guy a lesson.

People are funny....they will try to take advantage of the system. That includes those $300 toilet seats and $600 wrenches, which are okay because they come from the vaunted "defense spending" package.

Your comparison does not float.
We are talking about people on UC with assets out the butt who have the money to survive on their own without assistance and are exploiting the system. I think if you check, it is worse than your 100/1 .
Most states with the mickey mouse asset test have dem governors.

In a socialist country that is the attitude and idea generated..Why work hard and achieve when the govern gets to take it away through taxation and distributed to the worthless. All that ends up happening is everyone ends up poor and the country runs out of money. Ask europe they know all about it.
