But, since Romney's never been divorced, Axelrod had to dig a little deeper, and found someone else's dirty laundry to air.

Since Romney's not a party to the divorce, he really can't do much, but he's already said he has no objection to the records being released.

Yeah, let's reward a man who bailed on his country with the Presidency. If given the choice, i am sure the older kids in my neighborhood from low to middle class families who were drafted during the vietnam war would have done the same thing but they werent given that choice.

Why couldnt he defer his mission work or serve as a concientious objector ? He had more choices than others in his age group and he made dishonorable choices.

I was not aware that Clinton was an advocate of the Viet Nam war? See, that part would make them different. Romney is more like Cheney, just 4 different short. Argue in favor of war but let someone else do the fighting.

I can imagine the trauma of doing missionary work. Must be horrible. I bet quite a few of the boys who were in Viet Nam would have gladly changed places. I think if you are going to advocate war you ought to at least have the back bone to go fight it.
