Read the above link from the Fort Worth Star Telegram. Interesting opinion on the the state of the US airline industry. I wonder where this guy stands on AA?

Even though the US industry is poised to make a profit I doubt AA will make a substantial profit. AA will spend money on new aircraft, admiral clubs, upgrades on interiors and other items that will only make negotiations look bad for us to try to recover our concessions of 2003. Yes, AA will turn a profit but they will spend money and lots of it in order to suppress the work groups on the floor. There will always be a spin on this issue. AA has a way to make things look bad even though others see it as a good thing. You have to love the big AA logo on top of the Arena in Miami or the AA logo on the urinals at the Dallas Arena. Money well spent.
