If west ramp computer system is as screwed up and backwards as shares we would certainly be in deep doo doo. Thank goodness for Sabre. If only the princes in the sandcastle had thought out the res change. If they had really done their job we wouldn't still be trying to cleanup their mess 8 weeks later. And the mess is still with us, ask the agents in Europe who are paralyzed by this pig of a system. The sandcastle knew Shares was not able to handle true international ticketing and elected to go ahead anyway. That's real leadership. In any other business an executive that pushed through such a monumental disaster would be on the street , but not, us we give them a bonus. FUMU. You know what you're doing is not going to work because it has not been properly tested and upgraded and will probably cost millions , but let's do it anyway and try to fix it later and put a spin on it and blame the problem on the legacy systems , without telling that the "new" system is an older legacy system. There's some great management for you! Blame everyone/thing else except those that caused the problem to begin with.
