OMG, I was in tears when I read your link. Let me just add that today I had a woman who said she had a raised seal death certificate from her father's funeral (which happened a while ago) and was wondering if she could get a discount!

Really? Then why was the early out offered if the company could have waited until October and just closed Pit Res and furloughed everyone? That was a costly mistake, you can't say they will have recouped the savings of outsourcing by October. People taking the EO got 20k, health insurance and another 12k in unemployment benefits. Basically, their salary and benefits are taken care of for another year and no one is taking any phone calls! I doubt U is going to dump Attento and PRC that fast, otherwise this whole fiasco won't save the company a dime and probably cost twice what it would have had the company kept Pit res open untill the merger.
 
Passengers are greatful...when they hear a res agent that speaks English, although it is sad that our outsourced offices are not even safe booking free tickets...RTFCS or DM tickets....some of the things we've seen are scary - someone needs to help with a little more training...we've had soo many angry passengers.....but I bet their Call Work and talk/handle time is wonderful....if too complicated...just transfer it somewhere...Hertz/Avis...Hotels.com or Rule 240 it.....lol
