Seems to me that many on the so called "right" are so loud and wanting to be heard, that just a few, (Tina Fey, Stewart and Colbert) can poke so many holes in their arguements, that the Swiss are mad at them.

Actually several other new conglomerates sent amicus briefs to he court saying the same thing.

I believe the basis of this thread was that FOX is a more credible news source. Given that they (along with others) admitted the they are not, the would seem to negate your argument.

Jon Stewart host a comedy show on Comedy Central. I am not sure why you would be comparing a supposed news program to a comedy show but that seems a bit insulting to FOX don't you think? Or do you think FOX is a comedy show as well? I know I do.

I wonder if Stewart would be insulted by your comparison.

I think people like you would probably do away with the Miss America pageant, tell me I can't order a Big Gulp and take my hunting rights away.

I never thought Fox was as bad as they are made out to be. Same for CNN, but as the survey shows, when I turn on MSNBC I get opinion not news. Which would be fine if advertised as such.

Same thing for Fox. THey should drop the "fair and balanced" because they aren't. One caveat that I WILL give to Fox - they had the best election coverage in 2008. Despite the fact that their guy lost, their coverage was excellent.

I live in red state Kansas where our state legislature wants to abolish income taxes AND reduce sales taxes so a Lafferable flood of revenues will head into state coffers. The TV in the lunch room is usually locked on Faux.

True enough Dell...but check out their sales tax - which our illustrious right wing legislature wants to cut ALSO. No tax on income combined with no consumption tax equals coffers overflowing with "Laffercash". BTW... I used to live in one of those no income tax states (Texas). Just above Mississippi in education, and Rick "I'll secede" Perry needed to use stimulus money to balance his states budget.

If a woman wants to degrade her self that her her prerogative. If you want to ruin your health by drinking soda or eating junk food then again that is your prerogative. I do think an insurance company should be able to increase your rates.

As for marijuana, I do not care if it's a medicine or not (it can be used as such). If US law will allow alcohol and nicotine then there is no justification to ban marijuana.

It cracks me up when people say that we do not have income tax that everything is all good. Has anyone seen our property tax? We are not broke because no money is spent on education as mentioned above, road maint is neglected, law enforcement .....
