I fly out of PHL and I can attest that baggage is working much better.

Amazing what you can do with extra equipment and proper staffing.

Yes, baggage handling at PHL has improved greatly. There's still some delays ( I consider anything beyond 30 minutes as needing improvement ), but things look and feel more organized when you hit the baggage belts. In our experience flying TA, A-West has pretty much always functioned quite well. Fixing PHL really wasn't rocket science, it was about somebody finally listening and acting. Hard to believe it takes so long to do so, but an improvement is an improvement, so kudos to US & its employees.

As an aside, the City of PHL appears to have pulled it's head out of it's a$$ as the airport in general seems to look and feel better. I'll take it while it lasts.

From a BSO standpoint, I am taking a LOT less PHL claims than I was last summer.
Where are the gloom and doom morons now?

WHAT BAGS? Pretty soon they will have KIOSKS to take your claims. With 15- and 25- fees there will be alot less work for all of us.

Had to start the "doom and gloom". By the way, Grantham is the one that should be taking all the credit.

The baggage operations are improving due to the diligence of it's employees working in a broken, and poorly structured corporate structure.

If anybody deserves credit, it is our brothers and sisters out east!

Of course the company will take credit.

My hats off easties!

Regardless, it shows a dramatic improvement in our service. Now if only our express operators would improved thier dependability.........

So, if it declines, will you blame the employees?

Management stepped in and worked on the problem, employees worked to make it happen.

Credit goes to both Management and Employees.

Street Construction Company went Out of Business so it had to improve. It was a problem way before the merger, but see what happens when they finally get someone who knows what to do with a hammer in there.
