Phl To Jax For The Big Dance

For an airline to be the official airline of a team is just advertisement and possibly other purposes, but it does not mean that the airline is specifically the carrier of choice for charters.

Southwest is the official airline for the Philadelphia 76ers and Flyers, however i've never seen them use Southwest as a charter, they use Northwest or other charter airlines. Southwest is the official carrier of the NFL but not one NFL team uses Southwest as their charter. I know the 737's make it less diserable but it's just to prove a point.

I've been tracking Eagles charter flight for years now and they always use Northwest, including this season. That's why i say they will use Northwest. It doesn't matter that Northwest is limited in PHL, they just ferry an aircraft in from DTW or MSP. In fact once a year the Eagles use an NWA 742 during the regular season and it's always ferried in from MSP.

Thanks for filling me in on the charters. I can remember in the halcyon days we seemed to carry a lot of teams around the country. One particular night we flew the Phillies up to SFO during the Rodney King riots in LA. But I digress, remminising only makes me ill.

The Pats will threepeat.

I saw both games and though the Steelers were awful weak in comparison to the Pats.

I personally think the Eagles are going to win this one.

That is correct, the Eagles DO NOT fly USAirways. We only handle the Charters for the Panthers and Steelers. And as far as the Patriots, this is your last year so enjoy it. When Charlie leaves for N.D. next year your offense will suffer.
