I just hope that the Piedmont employees realize they are one of the most expensive regional airlines out there. So if a union is promising everyone a "huge" raise you need to think twice about that one. Look at the fleet plan for Piedmont. The airline had like 70 Dash 8's at one point, correct? But to date, there are, 45?
PSA was USAirways Group's way of keeping station costs lower SOLELY because of the contract. I find it interesting that after 4 or 5 years of negotiating they get a new contract and then PSA has to convert all stations to PDT.
