Seriously? I was actually going to applaud US for keeping their pax out of harm's way, but you just rained on my parade.

Well they did keep them from flying 6 hours over water on a broken plane. I'd consider that "out of harms way". 🙄

807 experienced problems with its HF antenna and had to divert to PHX. It was only booked to 106 and apparently most or all of the pax were reaccommodated on the second Hawaii bank. Reg was N256AY.
