I assume you are reffing to some Islamic countries/cultures that do that. You failed to mention countries like India that still have prearranged marriages. None of them are relevant to what has happened here in the US under the supervision of the Vatican. What Iran or the UK or any other country chooses to do is their business. In the US, a minor cannot give consent. Priest in the RCC abused and raped minors. In the US that is illegal. Most people go to jail for that. I do not care what religion they are. There are cultures all over the world that do things we would never even consider. That is their right as a sovereign nation. There are cultures in Africa that circumcise young females. We can speak out against it but that is pretty much it.
So it does not matter what happens out side US borders. The RCC violated US law. The fact that no one has gone after the SOB's is disgusting. You can try and throw out all the diversions you want but it does not change the facts of what happened. Children were raped and abused with the knowledge of the Vatican and the Pope him self.
