Anyone else get theirs early? Tomorrow is a regular payday for ACS (with checks visible the day before). Those aren't in there, but the PS checks are.

I'm sure there'll be some "interesting" discussions in payroll today...

To all of you active/actual DL employees, enjoy! We earned it.   🙂

KEV is buying lunch for all with his PS check...   Congrats to all the DL employees that help make it happen...

Congrats on the extra month's pay.   🙂

Sorry to hear that DL unilaterally cut the profit-sharing percentage to 10% of profits from 15% of profits for this year.   Record profits and yet continued concessions.   🙁

Oh you have done it now, guess he will post a 1,000 word rebuttal?

no... just 10

some people don't know how to leave well enough alone.

7 more.

let us know when you get the same.

I'm sure you're jealous. The State of California certainly won't be awarding anyone anything for its financial health.

we'll be eating well. I'll throw in the bubbly.

congrats to all DL employees. This is their week and year to celebrate. There's more kick butt of the competition coming.

Congrats to all the hard working employees of delta above n below the wings

and also the ones at the front in the cockpit, in the cabins and headquarters, res offices and maintenance facilities,

ALL of them.

It was a team effort that put DL out front and it is a team effort that will keep them there.

And DL employees board by seniority. 🙂

Thanks for the kind words all. I'm also happy to see that other carriers are doing good as well. It's nice to see us all moving in the right direction for once. 🙂

One thing I should've explained better in the OP: For those that aren't DL employees, these weren't supposed to come out until 2/14, and were posted in place of our normal checks. The company does a pretty good job of hyping that day up (celebrations system-wide, etc.). I'm not sure how many people got to see theirs ahead of time, but they moved pretty quick to shut access to employee paycheck viewing down until it was fixed... For them, this was like kids seeing their Christmas presents on 12/18...

The check is certainly nice, but you're right; for every step forward, there's a least one back. Sure we get a raise in April, but it's offset by an increase in employee-borne costs. We get a hella nice PS check-that we all earned- but the percentage is cut going forward.

It's like an economic cha cha.

One other thing: On our employee website, they're doing a thing where employees can submit idea on how they plan to use their PS checks. The leading response right now is "pay bills." That, to me, is really telling...

I was reading that a prescription that use to cost $30 under the DL insurance is now $50.

while true, tell us what the cost of health care has done for all Americans. I have medium grade insurance outside of the airline industry and my costs continue to go up.

Tell me ANYONE who has maintained their same amount of out of pocket expenses. Maybe the less than 2% of Americans who have totally free health care coverage.

Anyone that pays anything for their health care is seeing costs go up because health care costs for everyone is going up. And health care bureaucracy problems are, well, legion.

Hope you had a great look under the Christmas tree. Hope it is just as sweet a week from now.

You do realize in most CBAs there are caps on healthcare cost increases, does DL have that for their non-union employees?
