Question For Aa Fas

According to my Flt Attendant contact whom flies for AMR. The LIM based flight attendants are from an outside vendor. That is part of the stipulation for allowing AMR to fly there as well as the other Latin American countries. Only a limited number of flights can be AMR crews .

This was posted on the US Airways board, can someone explain if AA used Non-AA employees on their latin american flights?

We have 4 foreign national F/A bases. They are SCL, LIM, BOG and EZE. They have around 750 or so F/A's total between the 4. They are allowed to only fly back and forth to their own country through MIA and on to some Central American destinations. Not all of them though. The only port of entry to the US that they can work flights through is MIA.
