Not a FA but worked with the group.
1. Some did some did not.
2. At AA it's a 6 week ( may be 8) course so judge for your self what the skill level is. The airline will teach you all you need to know so no prior experience is required.
3. Some do some don't. The more senior FA's who can get the premium trips with good lay overs (fewer trips like that due to cost factors) can enjoy the lay over. More often than not it's fly sleep fly so I doubt you will get many who say they like that aspect of the job.
