AMERICA’S favourite television presenter is paying a painful price for her intervention in the US presidential campaign last month. Oprah Winfrey has been dubbed a “traitor†by some of her female fans for supporting Barack Obama instead of Hillary Clinton.

Winfrey’s website, Oprah.com, has been flooded with a barrage of abuse since the queen of daytime chat shows joined Obama on a tour of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina in mid-December.

It started with a message on her website entitled “Oprah is a traitor†and rapidly expanded to include several discussions that attracted hundreds of comments.

In the original post, a reader called austaz68 said she “cannot believe that women all over this country are not up in arms over Oprah’s backing of Obama. For the first time in history we actually have a shot at putting a woman in the White House and Oprah backs the black MAN. She’s choosing her race over her gender.â€

The latest "Inside news" I'm hearing, is that the DNC is getting concerned that this Hotly contested "endeavour" could cause the "EYE's (taken off of) the PRIZE", meaning a Democrat in the WH.

It's being "bantered about" that HC + BO be on the same ticket(which would 99% guarantee Dem victory).

Ya' could be right,("BO"), but if would be his quickest route to "1600", because he won't be "going" in 08' !!

BO is "unwise" to turn this primary into a "race" thing, and THAT is whats happening in SC already.

HC...ABSOLUTELY is NOT making this contest about race, she making it about ISSUES/(Experience)............."PERIOD" !!!
Once JE "exits", the Vast majority of his votes go to HC !!

SC is a moot point anyway, because SC will still be a RED state(in the General election), looooong after you and I are "taking a DIRT NAP"

Hillary in all her Clintonesque manner did throw out the race card unknowingly and it has backfired,pissing off a lot of blacks.
She should have chosen her remarks (as usual) about King and some others a little more wisely.

Sen Obama and Sen McCain are the only ones out there who have an ounce of integrity left. They are the only two as far as I can tell who have stood by their convictions on the Iraq war. Obama was against it from the start and McCain was in favor from the start. For sticking with their convictions, I give them both credit. Clinton has changed her mind depending on which way the wind blows.

Prior to Iowa Mr Clinton was on the side lines watching. The day after Clinton got beat, they set him loose. I agree with Obama when he said he was not sure which Clinton he was running against. If Mrs Clinton is running for office, then tell Bill to sit the phuck down and STFU. I want to know what Hillary has to say. Bill had his chance in office.

Something just occurred to me. No one is really talking about the republican candidates. They get mentioned but no one really seems to be talking about them. Are they really that inconsequential? Even FOX does not talk about them much. It's as if no one really cares about any of them. How sad.
