Unfortunately, changing who collects dues won't do us any good at this point.

It won't do any good? Well you are probably correct, however a change in representation is not necessarily for just now.

Great Job to all the fighting men and women out there!

Now lets kick the TWU to the curb!

I am Dennis!

UPDATE: If judge lets AA cancel TWU maintenance contracts, 4,600 jobs would be eliminated. AA says its offer would have saved almost 2,000.

From company response

“We are disappointed that the Mechanic & Related and Stores workgroups did not ratify the company’s latest settlement proposals

So much for "last, best and final offer"!

Funny how the well paid TWU represented employees passed their deals.
2% paycut, longevity pay cut in half (hourly). Don't confuse Fleet with well paid employees, Duke.

Sad that it past...

Just wanted to thank all the people who voted NO you made my day keep up the fight and God Bless

I gotta say, I'd owe someone my next check had I actually bet it.
I will say, congradulations to the M&R for voting NO. I didn't think it would happen.....but you did.

 Now lets do as another suggested....download and sign an AMFA card(and AMP, lets see which one prevails).

Don't mean to get involved but was it the 1st LBO...or the 2nd LBO or ??????

Jason Whitely ‏ @JasonWhitely

A NEW DEAL? AA tells me it will still try reach "consensual agreements" with two TWU groups that rejected its "final offer." Talks continue.

looks like a good turnout for M&R Voters. TWU VOTE BREAKDOWN: Aircraft Maintenance and Related workers had a narrow vote as well. 56% voted NO to AA's offer: 5,307 to 4,179.

So more people rejected the July 2010 TA then this sweet 4/26/2012 LBO? Then all AA has to do is take away a few more things and we vote yes? And that makes sense how?
