In this country you have a right to vote.......you also have a right not to vote......my guess is the non voters don't care one way or the other so they didn't vote......its called better utilization of resources.......personally a beer has always done a lot more good for me than any vote around this property!!!

So more people rejected the July 2010 TA then this sweet 4/26/2012 LBO? Then all AA has to do is take away a few more things and we vote yes? And that makes sense how?

Lay off the fear mongering and start working towards a fair and equitable agreement.

Just because you International Appointees could not fear us into ingorance is a huge change and you should take note.

Don't take it personal, just learn from it and move on.

This was the best fear mongering AA/TWU campaign I have seen to date, and the membership stood against it for a change and refused to cower down.

You best get a great deal done soon, or TWU will no longer be collecting dues from any of us.

Don't mean to get involved but was it the 1st LBO...or the 2nd LBO or ??????

A NEW DEAL? AA tells me it will still try reach "consensual agreements" with two TWU groups that rejected its "final offer." Talks continue.

So much for LAST BEST OFFER.

I don't know who is worse, the TWU or the company. It is getting harder to tell them apart anymore.

There will be no "yes" vote. MOLON LABE !

Will like to see the M&R results by locals.

Very happy with the results, we are celebrating. There is hope.

Now TWU has to go.

Congratulations to the AA M&R Employees. You showed Corporate that you have No Fear and Will NOT Stand Down...Wish You All The Best. When This Hurdle is Over and AA M&R decides to OUST the TWU I will Celebrate with you guys...Can't Wait....To All The No Voters This was a Big Deal for you and all the M&R at other airlines...Thank You for taking a Stand...

I am VERY happy that finally there where enough people that voted to actually make a difference. some 81 % of M/E is pretty good.
Now this could be a beginning to something bigger if WE ALL STAND TOGETHER as awhole and not let the company win. Follow your hearts and do the right thing. No matter what happens!!!!!
If you do what is right you cannot fail, no matter the outcome.

Doing what they do best!

"The company worked with the TWU to identify creative solutions for meeting the Fleet Service savings target.

The original term sheet did not include changes to compensation, but the TWU proposed pay reductions in order to mitigate the number of jobs affected by outsourcing. This change allowed us to preserve approximately 1,300 jobs that would have been outsourced under the original term sheet conditions.

The original term sheet included a 1.5% structural increase at 12, 24, 48 and 60 months after date of signing. In the ratified agreement, Fleet Service Clerks will be asked to take an immediate 2% pay reduction, but will receive incremental increases throughout the life of the agreement:
  • 1% structural increase 36 months after date of signing
  • 3% structural increase 60 months after date of signing
Longevity pay will also be reduced by 50 percent at each level, making the maximum longevity pay $0.15 per hour. "

But the agreement is amendable at 6 yrs......it could take +2 yrs to sign = 8yrs...... IDK ? Take a 2% pay reduction........then get structural increases?......That could be anything right?.....nickle and dime that don't apply to all like $$......Just saying

Again, Fleet caved from the pressure of the TWU and AA. My 30 yrs gets me a paycut so we can save 1300 dues paying jobs.
But hey, incremental raises (two at less than what I'm giving up) over six, and yes, you're probably right, eight years. Pathetic!!!

Nope, I'm not a happy camper. Thank you yes voters and all you Little followers!!

MONEY FOR JOBS it’s the twu way. They must go this POS should never have been brought back to the members they are working with the company for the company. How much did the ATD give to save jobs six figure idiots that are unelected and not affected

United we will stand!!
Never give up..Never give in!!
Thank you to my M&R & STORE brothers and sisters who fought the fight....and didn't back down. Fear was not an option. We proved to every airline that we will not bow to corporate greed. "WE" are American Airlines!

Did I hear somebody say United? I agree, United, UAL deal or no deal. The company wants to be competative,so do we. Ok so UAL is the third from the bottom, nowhere near the top and their deal becomes amendable next June. Going above them would put us right in the middle, position wise, amongst our peers,(still on the low end paywise) . Give AA their six year deal, from the amendable date (2008) and lets wrap it up.

The fight has not begun, this is basically a vote to fight and not "Lets Bend Over".

Hey, Just wanted to let everyone who voted "no" to know that we are proud of you! Here in Tulsa, AA tried to get the mayor and anyone else they could get to go on TV and scare people into "yes" votes. Way to stand tall and proud guys!

My point is it doesn't have to be PAY raises....it could be STRUCTURAL ....what does that mean...IDK

I too am proud of my fellow M&R and Stores in Tulsa! We called the bluff. Now get ready because it's going to get worse before it can get better. AA will not just fold and give in, there will be more threats................... Oh, by the way, TWU said Fleet and the others have "Me Too" language that says that if we get a better deal then they get it too. Funny how there was no "Me Too" for 50% sick time for AMTs when everyone else on the property had 100%. Kinda makes you say Hmmmmmmmmm.
