Retirement Workshops

ARLINGTON (theHub.com) - With all of the changes to US Airways employees’ retirement benefits in the last few years, it’s important for you to understand your retirement needs and plan accordingly. This is especially true if you are nearing retirement.

A series of two-hour Fidelity Investments “Fundamentals of Retirement Income Planning†seminars have been scheduled throughout the system to teach employees: the importance of building a solid income plan; the challenges and risks faced in retirement; how to align income resources and expenses; and ways to develop income strategy.

While the workshops will focus on those US Airways employees who are ten or fewer years from retirement, the seminars will be beneficial to anyone interested in learning more about retirement planning.

To help secure a better retirement, all employees are invited to attend this two-hour seminar. The first seminars will be held in Charlotte in the B-11 Conference Room on Tuesday, July 12, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., and on Thursday, July 21, at 8:30 a.m., and 11 a.m. August retirement workshops are scheduled for Boston, LaGuardia, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Washington.

In addition to the locations listed above, seminars will be scheduled for Crystal City and for Charlotte and Philadelphia Maintenance. Further details regarding the times and specific locations will be provided at a later date.
