Looks like Santorum is off lying again, He will say anything to get elected (OK,m he is a politician) including trying to scare the elderly about health care and euthanasia.

Santorum claimed legal euthanasia is responsible for “10 percent of all deaths for the Netherlands.” Government statistics show euthanasia is climbing, but represented only 2.3 percent in 2010, according to the most recent data.
Santorum added that half of the people euthanized were killed “involuntarily.” A representative of the Royal Dutch Medical Association said “there are no forced cases of euthanasia.” Dutch euthanasia review boards found nine cases in 2010 where doctors “had not acted in accordance with the due care criteria,” mostly for how the procedure was performed — not because it was against anyone’s will.
Santorum claimed the Dutch elderly wear bracelets that say “do not euthanize me,” but the Dutch government and medical association say no such bracelets exists. Santorum “might be confused with a ‘do not resuscitate’ bracelet or necklace” worn by some patients, a medical association representative said.

Aside from the fact that FactCheck said his claims were bogus, it does not even pass the stink test. How can someone believe those numbers with out even trying to verify them.

I could care less that he does not believe in euthanasia but where does he and the right get off on telling the rest of us what we may or may not do with our lives and how we choose to die? Because of of SOB's like him my mother had to suffer a painful and undignified death.

The right does not want smaller governemnt, they just want different government and they want to control my life. GET OUT!!!!!!
 
Some aspects are entertaining in the same manner that you pass a accident and cannot help but look. To prey on the elderly like that is unconscionable. I have put 6 animals to sleep because they were terminally ill and I did not want them to suffer. My mother who I loved dearly was suffering more than any animal I ever had (I would never let that happen to them) and all I could do was stand by and watch them medicate her to a point of unconsciousness and watch her wither away and die.

I am sick and tired of the right thinking they know how to run my life better then I do.

As well as he is doing I have a glimmer of hope that he might actually will win the nomination. Sanatorium will probably alienate every woman and every independent. Now that would be entertaining.

I find nothing entertaining about Rick Santorum. He is IMO a dangerous man who at best has some odd ideas regarding the roll of government and personal faith play in our daily lives.

I am most assuredly a Christian and I find his remarks offensive. To me he is the American Taliban. The funny thing is morally I agree with him and llive my life according to some basic Christian doctrines. The difference is that what works for me, might not work for someone else and they may choose the LDS Church or Hare Krishna or any other faith. Or as in the case of some they become atheists.

Freedom & Liberty are non denominational and Santorum doesn't grasp this and never has. Also when you look at his voting record he frankly aligns more closely to Obama then you might think. Then there is the non stop War Mongering on his part.

I honestly believe that a Santorum Presidency would set us farther back as a Nation then 4 more years of Barack Obama. I don't like Obama even a little, however he at least can spell Liberty and use it in a sentence. Not sure Rick can.

I won't believe he was alive till I see a long form birth certificate certified by Arpaio. Once that is taken care of, then we can worry about if he is alive or dead or if he in bunk buddies with Elvis or not.
 
Well, in the name of FAIR PLAY, I've got to hand it to LIL' Ricky for making this GOP Abortion a real "knock down-drag out" FIGHT.
Especially for a guy with a crappy staff, and very lil' Mooh-laa $$$.

Again, I've got to hand it to him, especially since I (believe) I have Bashed him harder than anyone else on here.

Then again his tenaciousness is no surprise considering he's a kid from southwest Pennsylvania. RIGHT dell ??

I told you that before. He was our US Senator when I lived in PA. I'll give him credit for being ignorant of the COTUS on a consistent basis.

Want to get me to vote for Barack Obama? Nominate Santorum would be the best chance.

More and more I hope Ron Paul abandons his Republican bid and goes Libertarian with Gary Johnson as his running mate. We may not win but we'll sure raise some hell along the way. It would be fun!. As there is no army, no government that can stop an idea whose time is at hand.
