[P][FONT color=#000000 size=3](Dec. 13) Legal representation for the ALPA units at PSA, Piedmont, and Allegheny at a bankruptcy hearing this week compelled US Airways to put in writing a committment to distribute 300 regional jets to its wholly owned subsidiaries. The findings said:[/FONT][/P]

[P][FONT color=#000000 size=3]At a hearing today in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia the Court entered an order with finding of fact whereby US Airways Group Inc. specifically represented that its motion to enter into a post-petition service agreement was not in breach of its Pilot Restructuring Agreement with the pilots of PSA, Piedmont and Allegheny.[/FONT][/P]
[P][FONT color=#000000 size=3]There was also a finding of fact that US Air Group Inc., fully intends to comply with its business plan in distributing 300 regional jets to its wholly subsidiaries in accordance with the terms of the mainline restructuring agreement.[/FONT][/P][/BLOCKQUOTE]
 
[P][FONT color=#009900]MEC TO CONFER WITH LEGAL STAFF FRIDAY ABOUT LOA 83 & 84[/FONT][/P]
[P][FONT color=#000000 size=3](Dec. 16) The PSA MEC Chairman announced today that the entire Master Executive Council (MEC) will confer with ALPA Legal staff on Friday, December 20 regarding the legal problems posed by US Airways Letters of Agreement (LOA) 83 - Accelerated Small Jets and LOA 84 - Supplementary Cost Reductions. The US Airways MEC ratified the agreements late Friday night.[/FONT][/P]
