Per the integrated grade structure effective 10/2/06, a grade 118 has a minimum of $56,397, a mid point of $92,198, and a maximum of $128,000.

Nothing like getting internally promoted into a job at the $56,397 salary minimum, when if they hire from the outside they'd pay the newbie $128,000.

What company has 118 pay grades? Surely there's some kind of embedded code--like, pay grade 18 with a 1 in front of it means Flight Service; a 2 means Maintenance, etc. Even when I worked for the government, I never heard of more that 30 pay grades.

They did away with the old HP and legacy US codes and replaced them with new ones that started in the 100s for the merged company.
