Sarah Palins #1 Best Seller

That does not make her a great Author.
she is an ordinary, everyday person.

what that means is simply,

you, too can be number one.

the part most don't get is simply those at the top want to keep

ordinary people in their place.

at the bottom.

Some are sadly buying into it.

Kind of like having an einstein avatar doesn't make one sound any more intelligent?
...and a personal attack makes you stronger

No, you said she is now a great author.

She is simply a capitalist. I do not blame her for cashing in on her fifteen minutes before they are up.

From the excelsior of personal abrogation.................

Palin sunk McCains hopes or the WH. Had McCain actually had a real VP, he would have had the WH. Palin is has no understanding of of international affairs. She does not have the ability to carry on an intelligent conversation on complex issues. SH is an oddity in US politics and people are interested in her. To infer that she is a great author or that people have respect for her in my opinion is foolish.

Put her up for POTUS in 2012 and you will see how much respect she has. That will never happen (unfortunately for the Dems) since she blew any hopes of a political career out of the water when she (oh how do you reps put it) OH yes, 'cut and run' out of her obligation to the people of AK.

You are aware that McCains numbers went up with Palin?
That's because the far right considered McCain to be a RINO.

Here in suburban KC, in the heart of good old red Johnson County, Kansas...we've had a democrat representative for the past 10 years. How can this be? Well...it's like this - the folks who turn out to vote in the GOP primary can all pretty much be described as "Palin supporters". And in the GOP primary, they elect the most "Palin-like" candidate they can run...over many much stonger candidates. And in the general election, the more sensible republicans look at the slate...shake their heads, and pull the lever for that democrat.

McCain's numbers went up because those who thought he was a RINO were suddenly given a glimmer of "hope". The problem is this...McCain...the "maverick" of 2000 suddenly became "just another Bush" on the issues. He made John Kerry's "flip flopping" seem like a peaceful nap. But...there were apparently not enough Palin supporters to push McCain over the top. And I wonder how many conservatives who are not on the fringe movement of that party would pull the lever for Palin as president.

That's because she was the REAL conservative on that ticket...McCain was just the idiot the left wing media gave us as the Republican nominee.

She's the reason he got as many votes as he did. Republicans, real republicans, real conservatives DO NOT like the RINO (Republican In Name ONLY) McCain.

This is actually the ONLY time in my lifetime that I have voted straight party ticket. I have always had a problem with people being too lazy to vote for each person individually and marking staight party tickets. But I simply could NOT bring myself to actually putting a mark next to the name of John McCain and I certainly was not going to throw my vote away by not marking the ballot for President. So I honored my conscience and DID NOT vote FOR McCain, but still cast the vote in the Presidential box anyway.

So tell me that people were excited about McCain and Palin had nothing to do with it. I know otherwise.
