Palin gave a bump because she was a novelty. She got the fr right all worked up into a lather. The center (where elections are won) ran like hell. She had no concept of international affairs much less domestic affairs.
however her approval ratings were 80 percent and she was a Govenor.
BTW, we did not get the Olympics...
Her interviews will follow her as well as her blaming others for her short coming for the rest of her career.
I can hardly support the media as being the victim
(as they were the ones who created most of the non-sense in support of their choice)
one thing I learned about the media and election 2008...people do not care much about experience at all...regardless..
when they elected...someone politically.. who spent more time getting another job in the middle of their first one.
the entire Democrat platform during the campaigns was focused on blaming someone to justify voting someone else.
that was exactly what they did..
having a very open mind, would have preferred to hear a real plan how to address issues going forward, instead of pointing fingers..
Buy all the books you want. More money in her pocket. I would not buy a book from a politician regardless of who they are. Might buy one second hand but I'll be damned if I'l give one of those SOB's a dime of my money.
thats fair enough..
Both parties need to realize that there are more than the fringe in this country. The fringe right and fringe left are a minority. Most of the people are more toward the center. McCain was someone who represented both the moderate left and right. Palin was way to far right to be accepted by either side.
Romney was a better choice..
I am sure Palin will be around for some time. I would be surprised to see her on a ballot, much less win elected office given her track record of leaving a job half done.
I think she will be around for a very long time.
its nice to see another strong woman in the spotlight who actually embraces the real ideals of family values and doing the right thing..
however I do not think she will run for any political office in the near future.
she will be more effective helping campaigning for her party, at this time.
I wish her success in whatever she chooses to do.
