I hate to be the naysayer here, but as a union-paying member of AFA for 20 years now, that money had best damn buy me better representation than those at Delta who have turned down representation. I'm not heartless or mean, but I find it hard to believe that in a combined carrier that will be 11% smaller, that there will not be reductions in employees. Where are the junior folks? At HP.
Delta f/a's didn't want a union, so why should they be extended the same rights and benefits as those of us who have been proud card-carrying union members since our sixth month of service at US and at HP? If that's the case, give me my money back. $44/month for 20 years=$10K
