Gate agent at SFO said today the "we hope by the end of the year" there will be a club at SFO again.

Is this like me hoping to win the lottery or is it actually a real thing?

More clubs system wide was mentioned several months ago. Probably depends on how well the merger progresses as to when more clubs will open.

Is there space close to the rotunda for a club?

There was a TWA Ambassadors Club there close to the "rotunda", but I seem to remember in another thread someone mentioning that Alaska had snapped it up after TWA moved out... I would think that a city as large as SFO would be able to support a club... If they can find space, of course...

Yes, the former TWA Ambassador's Club is now the Alaska Board Room. That's the only airside clubroom in the entire terminal - CO and DL have theirs landside. 🙁

Interesting, US to T3? AA has an airside Admiral's Club in Terminal 3, but that area is security-shared with United's hub gates.. so if the brain trust in Phoenix was smart enough to cut a full-reciprocal club deal with UA they wouldn't even need to open up a dedicated club - just use the United RCC.

I think that Chicago(ORD) would definately support a club here. Ton of club members flying in and out of Chicago, and there is one UA club here in T2, but... again... no recipricoral lounge access!
