Sick Of All The Bad Dl News?

How about some good DL news ? There has to be some, it is just that the media in this country likes to FOCUS on the BAD and overlook the good. So, if you are surfing the net and come across some positive DL news. Post it here!

This POST Excludes the topics of Fuel, Bankruptcy, Pay, Benefits or layoffs.. Unless you can find something that is upbeat and positive.

The Berlin flight is apparently doing well.

Delta has a pretty good relationship with the FAA and has successfully implemented new navigation procedures in ATL before other hubs. Hopefully a DL pilot can more fully explain what has been done. The FAA has also been quite complementary of DL's hub restructuring efforts at ATL insomuch as they have reduced delays at the world's busiest airport.

If Delta's leadership had half of a brain they would make the entire domestic product Song.

but unfortunately that makes too much sense.

No, the good news is that most of the domestic system is still flown by mainline aircraft that have a first class cabin that allows the opoprtunity for upgraded and differentiated service. Song isn't the right product for every market. Hopefully, DL will be able to upgrade more of its fleet with increased pitch and at least some type of in-flight entertainment system or amenity.

By all means, provide a product nobody will pay for that increases CASM! Great idea when you are losing billions.

I agree with turning down the schlock on Song a bit.

That is very good news (for those of us who keep buying on the drops).
