Siegel''s CNBC Interview-6/9

Pitbull,

The Department of Transportation defines major carriers as any airline that earns $1 billion in revenue.

WN is considered a major airline.

National airlines generates between $100M-$1 billion in revenue: Airtran, Frontier, Midwest Express..etc...

Regional Airlines generate less than $100M in revenue: Atlantic Cosst, Skywest, ExpressJet..etc....

With that in mind, we are well on our way to meeting Dave''s goal of becoming a regional airline.

Im not sure, but, didn''t PI have over 30000 employees when it merged with U?

Piedmont Airlines was approaching 25,000 employees before it merged into USAir back in the late 80''s.

I just read that, as of this month, US has approx. 28,000 employees system wide. Wow! How many were there back when PI and AL and PSA were all merged together?

Before 9/11, we were an airline of 46,000 plus. We saved an airline, alright, only thing is, soon, it won't be recognizable.
