I have no idea if the postings will go outside of Delta, but they need a couple of hundred by October...the application window for current mainline flight attendants has closed, not sure how many applied or will be accepted - the next step is for current Song gate agents to get the chance to apply, then open for all Delta employees to apply, after those steps then it will be posted externally...if it goes externally they will be put on delta.com

what about the furloughed mainline flight attendants? do they get a shot too?

Mainline furloughed flight attendants are included in the "current" category and are eligible to audition for the job...they have re-opened the window for current f/a's to express interest so no word yet on when the postings will be open for others to express interest in...
