Look at what the previous admin in the WH has done now. By not allowing a merger from Frontier first and then JetBlue. Biden and Harris are fully responsible for not stepping up and allowing a merger to help out employees and jobs. What has Biden done for America in his 40plus years in gov.? Absolutely nothing at all, in fact he has destroyed more than he has ever helped out and his entire record shows this. Which brings me to, how the hell could anyone have voted for him and Harris with such a bad record.

If/ when Spirit goes under it will make all the other Airlines they compete against stronger.

You should be more concerned about the Company you work for than those who you compete with.

Well of course. Anytime any airline goes out of biz it helps all the other airlines.
You speak nonsense about Southwest. Just watch them grow and expand into and beyond 2026. DFW here we come. And a possible start up of flights at the new McKinney National Airport (TKI) as well. And of course there will be added international and other US flights/routes to boot. Here we grow again!!!

I thought you had me on ignore?

I’m not singing the tune of troubles for SWA. You forget a lot of people are represented by TWU over there.

You never know how this industry will shake out but the first domino I want to see fall/fail is Spirit. Get those damn ULCC’s out and get those people back on Greyhound where they belong.

From there I’d love to see AA gobble up JetBlue.

We need to consolidate so both our Airlines (AA and SWA) can catch up to Delta and United on revenues and profits.

BTW SWAMECH Spirit deserves to go out of business because they pandered to the lowest common denominator of people. Tons of videos of the animals (yes animals) they wanted as customers who destroyed any chance of anyone ever looking at them as a respectable Airline.

And Carnival cruise line needs to go next.

And another one. Love how the Spirit Ticket agents throw in some punches. Very professional behavior.

Those guys used to work for Southwest... anytime you think of ghetto, you think southwest. lol

Big 3 will not hire any management or executive from Southwest. It's a known fact when you degrade the industry, you deserve the lowest denominator. Which is... liquidation and cease to exist...

Took you off ignore as you have changed your tune enough to get back to making sense so don't lose it and make me put you back on ignore.
I would agree that Spirit does need to go. JB has been hurting ever since they never jump into the merger world when everyone else did years ago and this was the start of JB hurting. They (JB) needs to think of merging with Frontier while we have a more business friendly Pres at the helm now. Both Frontier and JetBlue need a little help and that would also clean up the ULCC airlines even more.
Pretty sure we will never see AA/JB merge.
On a side note; I wouldn't mind seeing SWA hooking up with Frontier. We are in dire need of aircraft and fast.

Ah well thank you so much for engaging me again. I was so so lonely you know 😂

Bottom line who knows where the musical chairs 🪑 will land when the US Government makes the decisions. Deregulation was a farce since the Government never did really intend on an open market for the Airline Industry.

Your comment about “dire need” tells me Spirit won’t survive and the owners of those Planes know they will make more money selling them to the highest bidder than letting Spirit merge with anyone to survive.

Likely the reason Spirit didn’t take the Frontier offer was they were told they couldn’t.

The Bankruptcy lenders gave Spirit the money to control those planes. They’ll get their value back out of them and then some.

Something tells me Southwest will be in the same position a couple of years...Flying on ghetto airways is getting old.

I also believe Spirit will go by the waste side soon. Once they made the announcement nobody will sign up and pay for flight tickets due to the fear of being stranded somewhere. Just my thoughts.
Why even worry about Spirit? Southwest does that sh ,t in winter 2023, they are so great at keeping passengers stranded. It set a new guinness world record that year.

Most likely the best come back "SWAMECh" got is silence. Guys brain drained from drinking too much kool-aid.
