A little while ago my window was broken out of my car and flight bag stolen. Important items in my bag at the time were my log book and original medical cert. Still in flight training and have been putting off my XC solos for now. Can I use the carbon copy medical that was given to me at the same time as the original manilla one? I have been told that even if I request all my records from the FAA i am still going to only get a copy...so would this carbon copy be sufficient? Thanx!
