The GOP is split between appeasing the Trump faction and the corporate world, whose donations fuel it. Instead of either supporting wildly popular measures like the American Jobs Plan or introducing their own version, they've busied themselves clinging to the Big Lie that the election was somehow stolen. Never mind that there's zero evidence proving that and that Trump went 0-for-everything in court. .

That's raised the hackles of CEO's who correctly recognize that affiliating with voter suppression is bad for business.

This dissonance is an interesting needle for McConnell & co. to try and thread....and that doesn't even take into account performative distractions like Gaetz, Taylor-Greene, or Boebert.

One only needs to flip something like around 5-7 major cities in the battleground states to steal an election. Obama carried Wall Street over GOP then lost support to GOP after the dems went bonkers on power, same thing is happening now with Biden. Odd thing that union members are now supporting GOP more so than their internationals. Corporations and democrats are now the big bux preferred crowd.

Majority of the cases that went to court were never allowed evidentiary hearings due to time constraints.....so much for the 'Trump zero' angle.

Only reason CEO's 'hackles' were raised is from a dem compliant and supportive media misrepresenting and sensationalizing the issue. Look at the efforts by states to correct and legislate unconstitutionally implemented last minute election law changes now.

Only reason all the mindless rantings by the media is these legal changes go against the democrats attempt to take over state election law by legislating the mickey mouse last minute changes that let the election be corrupted in the first place....It's known as HR-1, and anything that goes against it even remotely has the media lemmings jumping off the cliiff. I see it is working here, quite well.
