None of those were universal law. Several states allowed women to vote and own property long before it was Federal law, and the "not counted as a person" only applied to slaves, regardless of their race. Free blacks had rights, protections, and a full vote. Only seven of the 13 colonies had bans on interracial marriage. SCOTUS even upheld the interracial bans in 1883, leaving them in place until 1967.

But, none of that has anything to do with the line of discussion regarding marginalizing Christians or other people of faith.

Essentially, it sounds like both Tree and you are OK with pushing Christians into the same closet Gays fought so hard to come out of.

No, Christian s are free to practice their faith in their home churches or any other private place unlike gays. Until recently there were laws on th3 books against sodomy.

Yes, to do what you want in private but don't try and make science classes teach religion, don't put any religious symbols on public land.... etc.
