don't put any religious symbols on public land.... etc.

But this is totally OK right? Using tax payer money I might add.

You seem to have a total complete lack of self awareness.

No. I don't think it is OK to be honest. I saw that the other night and was talking with my wife about it. I told her I thought it was inappropriate for the WH to have the lights on. I also feel it's inappropriate for then to decorate for the holidays as well so I guess we are even.

I am not interested in your chart.

I want you to show me some text from a religious volume that endorses homosexual acts.

Trust me..........700 has charts coming out his ass, for every libtard agenda!

I am confused about the facination regarding what religion supports what. The laws and xecisn in question so not concern religions at all. This is civil law and it is secular. Religions can do what they want.

No and yes.

No, Christian s are free to practice their faith in their home churches or any other private place unlike gays. Until recently there were laws on th3 books against sodomy.

Yes, to do what you want in private but don't try and make science classes teach religion, don't put any religious symbols on public land.... etc.
So, I should be able to freely exercise and adhere to my closely held principles in my private business, e.g. a bakery or flower shop?

Seems only fair that if I pay the rent, I can decide what business I decline and accept. Why should public accommodation trump closely held principles?

If a business wants to only cater to women, whites, or Episcopalians, let them. Mock or shame them if you feel you must, but it shouldn't be something that the state is free to penalize them over.

No. Unless you are OK allow g discrimination against women, men, short people, overweight people, old people ......

I bieve it's title 9 or some ting like that which addresses denial of services to people.

Yes. I used to frequent a small town called Big Bear in Southern CA. At the time there was only one grocery store serving the area. The next closest was down the mountain and a 45.min drive on a good day. What if they denied service to "x". Where are they supposed to go? I believe if you are going to serve the public then you serve all the public.

Eric wants to pass new Jim Crow laws covering Gays.

People have died to protect and further freedom in this country.

Eric, you wear glasses get out of my business.

Some of you people really need to wake up.

Remember, separate but equal was anything but equal.

COTUS doesnt care if you are black, white, red, orange, blue, gay, straight, bi, male or female, everyone deserves the same rights under the law.

Take your preaching to church, not here.

Nice try, UW, but your graphic just proved a different point... Roughly 94% of the observant Christians and 100% of the Muslims in the US belong to denominations which aren't allowing same sex marriages within their churches.

Looking at the leftmost columns,

EVLu's are about 3.8M, PCUSA = 1.7M, UCC is 1M, Quaker = 350K, 1.9 with the Anglicans, for a total of 8.7M members in Christian denominations. Throw in another 4M for the two Jewish movements listed and 200K for the UU's, and you wind up at about 13M.

Now let's look at just the third column....

RCC is 67M, Baptists combined are 39M, LDS is 6.4M, LuMo's are 2.2M, UMC is 7.7M, for a total of 122M. Then there's the PCA, which is 340M members, Islam has 3M, Orthodox Judaism is around 500K.

That's about a 1:10 ratio for allowing same sex marriages as a covenant/sacrament, and hardly what I'd call significant.
