TA reached for TWU dispatchers and Ops specialists at AA

No. There is a dispatchers only union out there that we will join that currently represents dispatchers at Delta and United.
I'll admit I like the work the TWU has been doing personally since Lombardo, Samuelson and Garcia took over. And I'm looking at the TWU as a whole pie, not just my own interests. Buts that's me and what I like.

This is the group you want to throw your support behind. Again I wish you well if you go and change.

We have put Lombardo and the events of the past two years behind us. And yes, PAFCA is the logical choice.

good luck to you. Dispatchers have the same proploms that us amt have in negotiations. Having other groups that do not know what amt issues are. Now we're stuck with the association two unions who have had some very bad contracts for amts. PAFCA Looks like they will be right for your cause. Like AMFA Would be good for amts. especially with our groups being licensed. We both need unions that understand us and our wants and needs

And if the TWU represented Dispatch people at Southwest were smart they will go with a professional association as well.
Imagine all M&R at Delta, United, AA and SW all in one Professional Association!

We are a year off from being able to leave, but once we do, I hope it encourages others if that's what they think is best.

Hate is your word, suck was mine.

They do nothing for us. 99 percent of their resources are tied up with other groups. During this round of negotiations they provided us with 2 fleets service clerks and an Envoy AMT. While I have the upmost respect to my brothers and sisters in those fields, they do not know my issues and do not walk in my shoes.

The NMB screwed us on their bs decision last time when 95 percent of the dispatchers signed cards. Those were the LAA guys. Now hearing from the LUS guys, they want out to.

The TWU may have been good for us in the past, but not in today's world.
Was anything decided as far as medical? We at LUS have a better plan  than LAA but I see that going over to LAA'S

LUS came over to LAA plan effective Jan 1 2017.

Then why does PMUS have better and cheaper insurance than PMAA and the IAM is an industrial union?

My reply was to worldport when he indicated insurance would go the same way for him. I believe as does worldport, being that we are in this industrial union together, we are all going to end up with the same insurance. If the dispatchers were able to get LUS insurance, everyone in the TWU would end up with LUS insurance.

Industrial union. No true ability for individual work groups to bargain for medical, 401k and most likely holidays and sick. You will get what everyone else does. Been that way for well over 35 years.

I can tell you for a fact, the IAM side wont agree to higher cost insurance with less coverage.

Tom Regan is a wizard at finding insurance, he did for us in the first chapter 11, he found better and cheaper coverage than what US was offering.

Insurance is very important to the PMUS/IAM side.

And no it hasnt been that way at PMUS for 35 years, you seem to forget, its not just the TWU anymore.

You told me for a fact 16 months ago that the former board of local 542 was going to have federal charges brought against because of LMRDA rules and criminal charges would be brought.

You were wrong on both counts. So you telling me for a fact doesn't mean squat.

Insurance was important to the PMUS dispatchers, but it would appear at an 85 passing rate, they found something more important.
