Excellent advice P2 however keep in mind that Merger policy was crafted to remove ALPA politics from the process. ALPA really only has one option here and that's to defend that list. I am sure legal has already advised them of this...

Yeah, the same poopoo we heard just before our pension was yanked.

No one is "stuck" with anything, unless they want to be. IMO, mitigation is not an option. The pendulum will swing the other way and the rooties will then be upset at what they "lost".
