We’ll have people to do the work. Just need to get them out of the Colleges learning oversaturated career skills.

Reading this, part of our problem with Agriculture is we do things with and to our food that the rest of the World doesn’t like. Basically we contaminate and poison our food. That’s the real point behind MAHA and RFK getting all the crap out. We do that we don’t only become healthier (Our Medical expenditures also drop) and we can sell to the World.

The problem with agriculture in this country is factory farms sacrificing quality for profit. The most recent example, put a couple hundred thousand chickens in one place and one sick one gets them all killed.

So where are Schumer, Jeffries, AOC, Bernie and all the other leading Democrats to say they support raising Taxes on the wealthy? It’s just like Trump said to Hillary in that debate about Taxing the rich. They’re full of chit.

What a deal.

Yes KC it is a good deal and you don’t understand Tariffs. You keep thinking ALL the Tariff costs are passed on to the customer which is a fallacy. By the way Rolls Royce was exempt because we buy a lot of their Aircraft engines.

Now we also knew Trump was going to leave a baseline 10% Tariffs on most imports minus products that we need or regularly buy but let’s make this simple for you.

Let’s say in the future a Ford vehicle becomes 100% manufactured in the USA 🇺🇸 and obviously now subject to no Tariffs and a Jaguar has that 10%. I have a “choice” of buying that Jag and supporting British workers and steel or I can buy the Ford. As a Blue Collar worker I’m probably going to buy that Ford.

Now maybe I’m rich 🤑 and buy into the notion that owning a Jag is a status symbol. So I’ll buy that Jag at 10% early in the year. Remember I’m rich 🤑 If I buy it later in the year after the 100,000 car cutoff they’ll be a 25% Tariff on that car. I’ll pay some of that cost and Britain 🇬🇧 will pay the rest.

Where does Tariff money go KC? It will flow into the USA 🇺🇸 Treasury. That means the rich 🤑 people will be paying for my Tax cuts. No Tax on Social Security. You see you need to learn how revenue works.

On top of that you gave me an Article obviously written by one of the Elites who owns a Jag, BMW, Mercedes or some other foreign vehicle. Of course they’re not happy with the idea of paying more.

I believe Scott Bessant has been saying Wall Street had their turn and will keep doing well but its Main Streets turn.

So what Mr Erickson seems to be saying here is that the Republicans he recognizes with seems to be adapting to become what the Democrats used to be.

The US-UK trade deal, while praised by both leaders as significant, is not a comprehensive free trade agreement and has been met with mixed reactions. It's been described as a "historic" deal that could boost trade and create jobs, but also faces criticism for leaving some tariffs in place and skipping more contentious issues.

Key aspects of the deal:
  • Reduced Tariffs:
The deal significantly reduces tariffs on British cars (from 27.5% to 10%) and some steel/aluminum products.

  • Increased Market Access:
It expands US market access for UK agricultural exports, including beef and ethanol.

  • Not a Comprehensive FTA:
The agreement falls short of a full free trade deal and leaves a 10% tariff in place for most goods.

  • Focus on Specific Industries:
It specifically addresses industries like car manufacturing, steel, and agriculture, with less focus on services.

  • Future Negotiations:
The deal leaves room for further negotiations and potentially more extensive tariff reductions down the line.
Potential Benefits:
  • For the UK: The deal offers relief to key industries facing tariffs, potentially saving jobs and boosting trade.

  • For the US: The deal opens up new markets for US agricultural products and could lead to increased exports.

  • General Benefits: The deal could foster closer economic ties between the US and the UK.
Potential Drawbacks:
  • Limited Impact:
Some analysts believe the deal's impact will be limited, as many tariffs remain in place.

  • Focus on Certain Sectors:
The deal may not fully address the concerns of all sectors, particularly those related to services.

  • Potential for Further Disputes:
The deal may not resolve all trade issues between the two countries and could lead to further disputes.
Overall, the trade deal is viewed as a positive step forward, but with limitations. It offers relief to specific industries and opens up new market opportunities, but it's not a game-changing agreement and may not fully address all trade concerns.
