I honestly don’t care 🤷♂️ (Seriously) if anyone is reading and agrees or disagrees. I don’t know any of you people and none of us here matter. If you’re wondering 💭 if I am amusing “myself” posting these things here, yes I am.
I used to never bother coming up here to the Water Cooler. My entire focus here was my Airline. Contract negotiations, concessions, bankruptcies, AMFA raids, etc. But as you can see that’s all quiet now. The Industry is semi settled in, no negotiations, AMFA nonsense is done and personally I think a lot of the old posters have passed away.
Again I’m amusing my own head however I like. And basically I had to keep my mouth shut 🤫 for the last 4 years or the real Fascists might come after me. I’m honestly personally reveling in ALL the Trump Administration is doing. I’m ecstatic. 🤩
The look of utter dejection on peoples smug faces is wonderful. The deportations, the woke DEI cleansing, DOGE, the fruitcakes, crackpots and degenerates being pushed back to the shadows again where they belong, the MAGA movement (I don’t wear the hat) The Trump Administration BIG MIDDLE FINGER. 🖕 The seriousness.

He might actually be able to engage someone in a discussion on X, but I think he is happy to spam this board and converse with himself, or any voices in his head. There are 16 pages in this thread, 99% of which are reposts from X as of 5 this morning. I'm counting on him to get that up to 20 by 5 p.m.

The same people complaining about the tariffs are the same people complaining about low paying jobs in the United States. I didn't hear so many complaining when our country started suffering death by a thousand cuts in the 80's by corporations offshoring jobs so they could pay third world wages and sell at first world prices. They were too busy buying cheap foreign electronics and cars.
Our politicians and corporations have been slicing us up and selling us off to China piece by piece. You think it is a coincidence our government institutions and government funded entities have become so left leaning? Where do you think these NGO's are getting their money? We have allowed far too much foreign penetration into our government AND private sectors. We have allowed far too many Chinese funded leftist groups to gain influence in our country and we have allowed far too many forgivers to invade our country under the banner of asylum and allowed crooked politicians to provide them aid at great cost to the American citizen in high taxes and high crime. We have allowed foreigners to come here and undermine American standards and values. It's time to start pushing these bastards back... hard.

Let's say Apple brought everything back to the US.. How much do you think those jobs would pay? I remember when they offshored as well. Back then it was YOU guys who were bitchign about paying someone "$75 an hour to put a bumper on a car". What you didn't say was that that amount included the costs to the company for healthcare and retirement. So you all were telling them "good riddance". I drive a Mazda..I watched a video on youtube of the Mazda assembly line in Japan. YOU know what's pretty scarce in the video? People. It's highly automated. But how much should we pay someone to solder an iPhone together? And...unless the dear leader goes thru Congress and enacts all this crap into LAW, the next president in office can simply wipe they away. And companies know this. So why on earth would they invest that much money when in 3 years the next president, Republican or Democrat, can sign an EO and get rid of the tariffs?
