Tariffs

You do realize that Trump plans to implement HIGHER tariffs on EVERY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD. But the rates will not be high enough to make it economically attractive for a company to move production to the US. Hell...even the Trump phone isnt' made here. So we will pay more, few manufacturing jobs will be created, but I'll know that you and wesase are happy about that.
There you go. Trying to make your case and now you’re labeled as obtuse. Sheesh

His “case” has no basis in reality since he seems like he lives in his own plastic bubble. Facts are that Manufacturing is already flooding back into the USA 🇺🇸

Of course factories aren’t built overnight even if libtards seem to think they can pop up with a wave of the wand of a magic construction fairy. 🧚

Commitments come before the plans are drawn and the jackhammers arrive.

MAJOR INVESTMENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

Made possible by President Trump’s leadership — The U.S. has seen a surge of private and foreign investment that are fueling job growth, innovation, and opportunity across every corner of the country.

Since President Donald J. Trump returned to office, his America First economic policies have sparked trillions of dollars in new investment in U.S. manufacturing, technology, and infrastructure.

Here is a thought....why don't you both swa X id's and share that **** over there? i mean the others on your side who try to discuss with more than spamming x posts are pretty frustrated at the way your freaking X posts ruin every damned thread on this board.
I don't know why the hell you are directing that at me. I was never on Twitter and I am not on X.

Then consider it me trying to help you as any response YOU makes gets buried in s flurry of X posts. Perhaps he he sticks to the "best posts on X" thread a real discussion might happen. but his bullshit with X post after X post buries responses from ANYBODY. Maybe if YOU ask him to quit spamming every thread he might listen and this board might become worthwhile. As it is, I'll go back to not even looking at a thread if the last poster was you know who.

"The bottom line is, people prefer American products," he said.

"Therefore, the demand for imports has gone way down, so much that even with what tariffs have been there, where people would say, 'Oh, they might increase prices at least a little bit,' we've seen prices going down."

Hassett also argued that countries with which the United States has trade deficits are eating the cost of the tariffs, instead of passing on higher prices to American consumers.
