We're not...you guys are.  What will you say when the debt continues to rise under a GOP warmonger president?

Sounds like just another whiney attempt at falsely "validating" yet more "feelings".  Where's the data to support ANY portion of your BS?

Spin the following any way your "feelings" will best allow:

https://www.treasurydirect.gov/govt/reports/pd/histdebt/histdebt_histo5.htm  Pay particular attention to the 2000 to 2015 section.

http://useconomy.about.com/od/usdebtanddeficit/a/National-Debt-by-Year.htm  "The national debt ballooned past $18 trillion on December 15, 2014. It's now greater than the economic output of the entire country."

That must be you, since the numbers don't lie. Do our only laughably supposed 'schools" event each anything but "feelings" these days?

All fine and good.  NOW...how do we cut taxes, increase defense spending, deploy the military AND bring that debt down?

A 16% tax in every phase of production.  In this case, it might well bring in MORE, since companies can't tweak the accounting during tax time, but if you don't think companies will pass this along to the consumer (consumer being the groups down the line), you are wearing rose colored glasses.  Our current system is supposedly 35%.  But starting in January they deduct this and write off that and lower this and tweak that, and ship this offshore and change that...until they pay very little.  16% at every step of production would be an increase for businesses.

As for protecting the country....Cruz has already amended his plan for the individual income tax...it remained 10%,but the original plan eliminated deductions.  He's changed to to allow you to claim mortgage interest.  Would you be willing to forgo your interest deduction to go to paying for the defense of this country?

But you're right...he sure has talked tough about defending this country.  You know...defense doesn't come cheap....and we've already got this massive debt thing that we are told is bad....how does he cut taxes, increase defense spending, deploy the military AND bring down that debt?  I guess he does have a Caribbean background, so maybe some voodoo is involved.

The Tax Foundation doesn't see the same boogie man that you do.
Excuse me if I take Their word for it instead of yours, they've been doing this since the 1930's.

Tax Foundation does some good work, but they are still a pro business anti tax lobby
Not to be dismissed, but ya gotta consider the source

WSJ criticizes the Cruz plan for many of the things kc points out

And, even if elected, does anyone think that Cruz' plan passes the lobbyists, Dr, I mean Congress?

Fat Chance, and even he knows that

We nowadays have to beg Mr. Putin for even a ride into orbit, since we have nothing more than essentially a "joke" left of even our space program.  What's wrong with this picture?
Lots.

Congress controls NASA's budget. Which party has the majority?

At least I'll know what MY money is being spent on!

Can't look at the past buttercup....I'm asking what Cruz or any other warmonger, tax cutting GOP president will do to reduce the debt.  My guess is - the debt will continue to rise...and if their wet dream of another war comes to pass, it will continue to rise at record levels.

Gimme a break...
