Better yet, why don't you tell us what, exactly, has positively impacted you, under BaRack's watch!
Okay. My ex wife who is self employed and has a pre-existing condition (rheumatoid arthritis) was able to get health insurance. Couldn't get that before at any price. That kind of impacts me because she's the mother of my child, and it's nice to know that she if she gets cancer, she can get treatment and my kid can have her mom.
Next, my retirement funds have done pretty well. Much better than I could have imagined. Yours might have done pretty well too.
I got a raise at work. Things were kind of tough there for a while, but apparently while people were bitching about the economy, it improved enough to take down the wage and hiring freeze...yep...I've got some new coworkers.
I go to a rather "liberal" church (and oh how I hate calling it a church....it implies organized religion). Quite a few of the members are gay, and as a result, I have come to know several new friends who happen to be gay. One couple that had been together 20 years (my marriage only lasted 16) were finally able to get married. Wonderful ceremony and a really great reception. That made me happy, so I guess I can credit Obama for that one.
I drove a Prius when Obama took office and it cost me almost $30 to fill it up and it only held 10 gallons. Today I drive a Mazda 6. It holds 15 gallons, but lately I've been hard pressed to put $25 worth of gas in when I fill it. I seem to recall people telling me that the high gas prices I was paying in 2009 was Obama's fault, so I guess I have to credit Obama for the low prices I'm paying today.
I just gave you 5 things that impacted me personally, and I didn't even mention that we killed bin laden, that the banks and wall street didn't fail, and that the economy, while not recovering as fast as conservatives feel it should, did not collapse - as it was close to doing when he took office.
That's 5 things less than an hour after you asked for them. We've been asking other posters to name 3 things that republicans have done that have benefited the middle class for going on a month now, and nobody has been able to even list one. Why do you think that is?
