Well, I guess we'll see what happens today.

Who will get to celebrate for the next 2 years?

Okay... I'll be the optimist.

Maybe, just maybe, this election will mark the turning point in the war in Iraq. Maybe President Bush will get the message and come up with a more workable plan. (Not meant to be a slam.) Maybe, in two years, that country (along with Afghanistan) will actually be in better shape than it is today. Maybe some of our troops will be back home. Maybe the world will be a bit safer.

Here's to hoping the next two years will be better than the last two years.

I am betting that we won't know the outcome for at least three weeks. It'll be that close..........

I like to see the dems get in...then it'll be up to them to save the world and answer for all they accused the other party of not doing....and should help the Republicans hold the executive branch in '08. 😉

Sentrido on possible suicide watch

Good call relative to the Senate - at least in VA - but there's no doubt about the House. A much bigger wave than I expected. The 'publicans will really have to figure out if there is anywhere outside of the southeast (and Utah) that they can gain a real foothold anymore. The latest casualty of W's war looks like it's his own party...and it could take years for the patient to recover.

08'? According to you guys the terrorists would win and we wouldn't be here anymore if the dems won. Or was that just "rhetoric"?

Damn. The Reps lost 26 seats in the house. Does anyone know the last time anyone lost that many seats in one election? I'm to tired to look it up.

Add to that at least 4 seats in the senate and 6 governors and I would say that the reps got spanked this time around.

I guess if you guys are going to play the moral card like you did in 2000 and 2004, you might want to check your closet as well. Some lady on FOX was keeping track and I think she said that at least 7 of the people who were caught with their hand in/near the cookie jar got their walking papers tonight. Mark Foley and Abranoff(sp?) left a really bad taste in some peoples mouth.

Oh boy two more years of Rhetoric and campaigning.

Six more, Charlie Brown.

1. Dems will be pushing their agenda to secure social security; not gamble with it,

2. CLOSE the "donut hole" in the prescription drug plan, and make the insuance companies compete by lower prices for medications.

3. Increasing min. wage and finally making tuition more affordable for the working class families tso that their chidren can afford a decent education. rather than paying $70-80,000 for a 4 year degree at interest rates from 6-8% taking 30 years to pay off.

4. Addressing a plan to protect our borders, and reduce illegal alien entry.

5. Protect workers pension plans from companies who restructure in BK and the Thieves of Enrons.

6. Stem cell research legislation.

7. Raise the min. wage...finally!

8. Affordable health care for all Americans!

Those are starters.

Next...the White House in "08" and even MORE seats in the House and Senate.

Get with the program, buddy. American ideology is shifting as the youth become more mature and taking more of an active role in domestic and foreign policies..many are now voting.

Six more, Charlie Brown.

Hope you get everything and then some. 😉

1. Dems will be pushing their agenda to secure social security; not gamble with it,

Oh you mean by taxing the generation X'rs to the point of poverty in order to pay for the baby boomers?

2. CLOSE the "donut hole" in the prescription drug plan, and make the insuance companies compete by lower prices for medications.

yea good luck with that one, why do you think medical care is so high genius?

3. Increasing min. wage and finally making tuition more affordable for the working class families tso that their chidren can afford a decent education. rather than paying $70-80,000 for a 4 year degree at interest rates from 6-8% taking 30 years to pay off.

Why not just give college education away for free like we do for illegals? Let the taxpayer foot the bill

4. Addressing a plan to protect our borders, and reduce illegal alien entry.

Your kidding right? The democrats love big government with all the handouts to minorities, it secures votes and insures their posh life in politics. Expect the borders to become more porous, with a 12 lane freeway running from south to north.

5. Protect workers pension plans from companies who restructure in BK and the Thieves of Enrons.

Can't argue with that, sadly they too like those big corporate donations and it will be status quo in washington on that one.

6. Stem cell research.

At what cost?

7. Raise the min. wage...finally!

For whom? YOU? the minimum wage is just that a starting wage, was never meant to be a place spent for lifetime. If you cant move beyond minimum wage then I suggest you go to school.

8. Affordable health care for all Americans!

You mean socialism, fine pal get ready to pay thru the nose in taxes. Health care is'nt free unless of course your an Illegal or in poverty. Again I ask you why do you suppose medical care is so high?

Those are starters.
Next...the White House in "08" and even MORE seats in the House and Senate.

Again I hope you get all that you ask for. 😀

Get with the program, buddy.

No thanks, Im opting out of your socialist program. I secured 40 acres some years back up in Alaska, just south east of fairbanks. Lots of hunting and fishing, thats where I will be in a few years. I wont need to live off the Governments Tit for life like you. 😛
