Dallas Buyers Club was a given to win in its respective categories, but it's a good thing Matthew McConaughey waited until the envelope was opened to go and thank God first...

Nah, really not interested in the naked man statues all that much, or movies for that matter. I watch them out of boredom on airplanes, could really care less about 95% of what gets released anymore.

The first hour of the show was all I could tolerate... went to go read a book after Ellen had the pizza delivered.

The wife and I actually enjoyed the show this time. It seemed light hearted. That said, it can be nauseating seeing some of these people fawning all over each other. Some of them actually do use their celebrity status to do some real good across the world. Others, not so much.

I cannot comment on the movies. I think the last time I actually saw a movie at a theater was Avatar. And before that maybe Star Wars. I am not a moviegoer.

The few we do watch, we watch at home.
