Yea there are cases who have died with heart attack that otherwise looked healthy, but the vast majority don't.

Its been medically proven that proper diet and exercise is healthy overall for the cardiovascular system, heck just ask Big Mac attack Bill. 😛

His first line was "See the movie(or on DVD), then perhaps you'll have a somewhat "different take"." Now while it may sound like he has NHBB does not actually say that he has seen it. Just looking for a clarification.

BMI does have it's limitations. In my yonger days I was around 170-175lbs. According to the BMI I was overwieght. However I was in great shape. Better shape that some of the people I knew who weighed less than me

Here's the thing about Jim Fixx. Up until his mid thrities he was overwieght and smoked around two packs a day. So some of the damage was already done. Then there was a family history of heart problems.

I read that for the most part, his facts were pretty spot on. It was noted that he omitted a few things here and there but that for the most part, the film was an accurate reflection of the medical situation in this country and abroad.

A brief summary.

MM interviewed Doctors in Canada, Great Britan, France, and Cuba.

Now I'm sure you'll want to "rule out France and Cuba"....OK with me, but the Canadian/British Doctors testified that people are NOT waiting 6/9 months for serious surgerys, and were making a very comfortable living.

Let me assume that you MAY want to use the TIRED ol' line about Canada being a socialist country.....OK with me.

You need to see the movie. "IT" is'nt about Michael Moore, It's about the CONTENT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well KCF, I doubt if they did.

In "911" if you were for the Iraq war, than NOTHING you saw in the movie, was going to change their minds !

Ahhh, but in Sicko, EVERYONE knows of someone, who is unable to get quality Health Insurance, or even Any Insurance at all !!!

It's why I say, in this film, it "is'nt" about MM(though a lot of people find it easy to HATE him), ...It's about THE CONTENT !!!!!!!!!
